\nNavigating career and (possible) family life in academia
\nThis workshop invites researchers in the PhD phase and early project leadership who are
\nnavigating questions around career planning and family life \u2014 whether they already have
\nchildren, are expecting, or are simply exploring if and how parenthood might fit into their
\nacademic path.
\nTogether, we take a closer look at what it really means to \u201cbalance\u201d career and family in the
\ncontext of academia: What exactly do I want to balance \u2013 how much ambition, how much
\ncaregiving, how much space for myself? What are my values, resources, and role expectations
\nin this context \u2013 and which expectations come from my environment? What structural
\nconditions am I facing \u2013 such as mobility requirements, time-limited contracts, or pressure to
