DESCRIPTION:Antje Rach of “Worte & Wandel Training Coaching” will host an exciting day full of discussions on the topics of work\, career\, and family planning: \nBetween Career Goals and Family Plans\nNavigating career and (possible) family life in academia\nThis workshop invites researchers in the PhD phase and early project leadership who are\nnavigating questions around career planning and family life — whether they already have\nchildren\, are expecting\, or are simply exploring if and how parenthood might fit into their\nacademic path.\nTogether\, we take a closer look at what it really means to “balance” career and family in the\ncontext of academia: What exactly do I want to balance – how much ambition\, how much\ncaregiving\, how much space for myself? What are my values\, resources\, and role expectations\nin this context – and which expectations come from my environment? What structural\nconditions am I facing – such as mobility requirements\, time-limited contracts\, or pressure to\npublish? And how do I want to (re)set my plans and priorities accordingly?
